Our Drone Survey Process, Step by Step
- Site visit: We review the area, access, terrain and the mapping objective before planning the flight and ground control.
- Control points: DGPS ground control points are positioned so aerial imagery can be tied to a consistent reference.
- Field work: The drone follows a planned flight grid, subject to weather and applicable airspace permissions.
- Data processing: Overlapping images are processed into an orthomosaic, elevation data and contour information as required.
- Drawings and report: The agreed aerial outputs and CAD base plan are prepared for planning, measurement or progress use.
