Our DGPS Survey Process, Step by Step
- Site visit:We review the project area, access, existing reference marks and the type of control the wider survey will need.
- Control points: Suitable positions are selected for benchmarks, pillars and control points, with spacing considered against the project layout.
- Field work: Base-rover RTK or static observations are collected, with Total Station support where satellite visibility is limited.
- Data processing:Raw observations are processed and checked against known reference points before coordinates are issued.
- Drawings and report: Control coordinates, descriptions, CAD drawings and the short survey report are prepared for use by the project team.
